This is me

Growing up in the 90s was truly an exciting time for me. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of a generation that witnessed the rise of technology and modern machines. As a child, I remember being fascinated by the various gadgets and devices that were beginning to appear in our homes and classrooms. My first computer had a floppy disk drive, and I remember the thrill of being able to store files and data on these small, magnetic disks. I also had a vast collection of cassette tapes, which I cherished and played on my Walkman, reveling in the experience of being able to listen to music on the go.

As the years went by, technology continued to advance at a rapid pace, and I marveled at each new innovation that came along. Today, we have solid-state drives that can hold vast amounts of data and information, and we can stream our favorite music using services like Spotify. The world we live in today is vastly different from the one I grew up in, and yet, in many ways, it is still the same. We are still driven by our desire to create and invent, and we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible with technology. For me, being a part of this exciting era has been nothing short of thrilling, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to witness it all firsthand.

from indoors to outdoors...

I hail from the picturesque city of Zamboanga in the Southern Philippines, where I was born and raised. For a long time, I was content to stay at home, venturing out only when necessary. I held a sedentary job that required me to sit in front of a computer screen for hours on end. However, I’ve recently made a conscious effort to prioritize my health and wellbeing, and I’m proud to say that I’ve embarked on a fitness journey that has transformed my life.

Nowadays, you can find me lacing up my outdoor shoes on the weekends, ready to tackle the great outdoors. I love nothing more than climbing mountains, immersing myself in nature, and running on winding trails. It’s a welcome change from the daily grind of work and a fantastic way to stay in shape.

During the weekdays, you’ll find me hitting the gym, where I lift weights, run on the treadmill, and engage in various strength and conditioning exercises. I’m committed to leading an active lifestyle, and my fitness routine has become an essential part of my daily routine.

Reaching new heights. Me at the summit of Mount Pulag, the highest peak in Luzon, second highest mountain in the Philippines.
On the way to Mount Ugo, our group found a very nice spot with a breathtaking background. These memories will live forever.

Looking back, I realize that I was missing out on so much when I was living a sedentary lifestyle. But now, I feel more energized, more alive, and more connected to the world around me. By prioritizing my health and fitness, I’m living my best life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This blog has been a cherished part of my life for a few years now. It’s a digital diary of sorts, filled with the poetry I wrote during my college years. While there are plenty of verses that have slipped away from my memory, I’ve managed to preserve a significant number of them here. In addition to my poetry, this blog also contains the majority of my original compositions. Music has always been a part of my soul, and I’ve poured my heart and soul into every note and chord.

As an aspiring author, I use this blog to sharpen my writing skills and flex my creative muscles. It’s a wonderful platform for experimentation, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to refine my craft.

So, if you’ve stumbled upon this little corner of the internet, welcome! I invite you to explore my collection of work and share your thoughts in the comments section. Whether you’re an aspiring writer or simply appreciate the beauty of art, I hope my work inspires you to pursue your passions with the same fervor and dedication that I bring to my art.

Muchas gracias!
