This is me

Growing up in the 90s was such a cool experience. I feel lucky to have been part of a generation that saw the start of modern tech and gadgets. I still remember my first computer with its floppy disk drive—it felt amazing to save files on those little magnetic disks. And my cassette tape collection? It was my pride and joy. I’d play them on my Walkman and loved the freedom of being able to listen to music wherever I went.

Over the years, technology has grown so quickly, and I’ve been amazed by every new invention along the way. These days, we have solid-state drives that can store a ton of data and services like Spotify that let us stream music anytime. The world looks so different from the one I grew up in, yet in some ways, it’s still the same—our drive to create and innovate is as strong as ever. It’s been incredible to witness this era of rapid change, and I’m really grateful to have experienced it all firsthand.

from indoors to outdoors...

I’m from the beautiful city of Zamboanga in Southern Philippines, where I was born and raised. Life here has always been a balance of work and quiet routines, with much of my time spent in front of a computer for my job. But just about a while back, I’ve discovered the joy of breaking free from the usual grind and embracing the thrill of the open road.

These days, weekends are all about the outdoors. More often than not, I find myself behind the wheel of my Ford Ranger 4×4, drawn to the endless possibilities of the highway. There’s something irresistible about tracing the lines on a map and setting out to see where they lead. I’ve made it a point to drive through every road in our city, turning the familiar into a personal adventure. Now, the highways beyond are calling, and I’m gearing up to explore the beauty of the Philippines behind the wheels of my trusty truck.

On the way to Mount Ugo, our group found a very nice spot with a breathtaking background. These memories will live forever.

This blog has been a cherished part of my life for a few years now. It’s a digital diary of sorts, filled with the poetry I wrote during my college years. While there are plenty of verses that have slipped away from my memory, I’ve managed to preserve a significant number of them here. In addition to my poetry, this blog also contains the majority of my original compositions. Music has always been a part of my soul, and I’ve poured my heart and soul into every note and chord.

As an aspiring author, I use this blog to sharpen my writing skills and flex my creative muscles. It’s a wonderful platform for experimentation, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to refine my craft.

So, if you’ve stumbled upon this little corner of the internet, welcome! I invite you to explore my collection of work and share your thoughts in the comments section. Whether you’re an aspiring writer or simply appreciate the beauty of art, I hope my work inspires you to pursue your passions with the same fervor and dedication that I bring to my art.

Muchas gracias!
