About Randy Batiquin

Growing up in 90’s, I love to consider my generation the luckiest batch of people to roam the earth. We were there and witnessed the rise of technology and modern machines. I know what a floppy disk is because I used to bring them to school. I know what a cassette tape is, because I had a collection of those. Today, we have solid-state drives and spotify and tons of new techs, which I so lovingly praise.

I was born in the Southern Philippines, Zamboanga City to be exact. I used to be a homebuddy, only going out when I feel the need to. For several years I had a sedentary job. Sitting in front of a computer for several hours a day. I still do so, but nowadays, I’m trying my best to get into fitness. On weekends, I love to hop on my outdoor shoes and climb mountains, or run in trails. On weekdays, I go to the gym.

This blog has been around for a couple of years now. It houses some of the poems I wrote during college. I say some, because there were a lot of them which, for the life of me, I can’t remember anymore. This blog also contains most of the songs I’ve written. And of course, since I dream of publishing my own book one day, I’ve started practicing my writing skills. This will be the start of it all.

So, if you found this blog somewhere and got curious, well, I say welcome to my site. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. Muchas gracias!
