One Me by Randy Batiquin

One hue for every brush I paint
a simple touch of dream,
To see the flowers grow again
and blossom in my spring..

One note for every song I write
an artist’s home within,
For in each verse I lay my heart
the place I’ve always been..

One rhyme for every poem to see
my winter chills undone,
One me to face this world to be
the man I can become.

I was born of a different breed, the crazy kind who embraces the idea that humans are limitless; the minority who loves to question the standards; the ones who dream the impossible.
